Readers journal
Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban is definitely my favorite in the series. It was the first Harry Potter I've ever read. A friend recommended it to me and I didn't think I would like it, but I will never forget my first time reading it. All the plot twists, all the action, all the mystery, I simply loved it. I remember right after I finished reading it I went out and bought the whole collection. After i read all of them, I watched all the movies. This was the third time I've read the book and I've watched the movies 3 times as well (Deathly Hallows Part 2 is my favorite, Goblet of Fire my least favorite), and I still love each and every moment of it.
Not only was reading this book fun, but it also teached me a lot about myself. I learned how much I love and need my family and friends because Harry grew up with no parents and no friends. It taught me that life gets better because even though Harry hated his life, he knew it would all get better when he got to go to school. It taught me that if I ever find a stick with unicorn hair in it, wave it and yell EXPECTO PATRONUM and hope for the best.
I would highly recommend reading this book. As i said before, it is really good and maybe you'll learn something. One thing you could learn from reading this book is the importance of friendship, because without friends, Lupin would have beleived everything people said and killed Sirius. Instead, he saved his life. You could also learn how to be a good friend for the same reasons. You could also learn how fragile life is. Sirius almost died trying to stop Lupin. And because of the Dementors. Ron almost died when he got abducted.
